The Garden House has its place in Zambia's history. It was here that the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) was founded in July 1990.



The layout of the hotel is extremely spacious with 50 double rooms, each en suite with a shower or a bath tub. Included in the welcoming facilities are a cocktail bar and terrace convenient to the bedroom wing, and a swimming pool for recreation.

more authentically Zambian than any other hotel in Lusaka.

Seminars and conferences are a specialty of the Garden House Hotel.

 

At present there are six conference rooms, inter-joining and a large hall, which is also very convenient for wedding receptions, and can accommodate up to 140 people.  Considerable attention has been given to décor which is highlighted by a range of African art.
